More and more men and women are finding the martial arts to be the key to personal security and self-confidence. The skills and knowledge developed at our school will give men, and women the ability to stand up to any situation. Flexibility exercises, combined with the kicking and punching of Karate workouts also provide an excellent tone-up and weight control program that is far more interesting than most of the “do-it-over-and-over-again” exercise formats that often bore, and fail. These workouts also provide an excellent release for the stress and frustrations that build up in all of us. The ability to defend oneself and one’s family is an important asset to any man or woman at any age. Knowing that you’re not vulnerable is a tremendous feeling. Students are grouped with others of similar levels of skill and experience. Our highly trained instructors provide plenty of personal attention so that each individual can develop his or her Karate skills at a comfortable pace. One of the major benefits of our program is that it is a highly structured training program that develops and improves each individual’s level of physical conditioning. Although most beginning Karate students may not be in top shape when they start their program, Karate’s “total body exercise “ soon puts them in peak condition. Classes are not overly strenuous or tiring, but are exciting and invigorating.
The teachers at SATORI-RYU are highly trained, highly skilled and totally committed to the development of quality students. We are very proud of our teaching staff. They strive daily to be the best they can be. Through their energy, enthusiasm, helpfulness and friendliness, they dedicate themselves to passing along that special quality of achievement to their students. All Instructors take an active interest in each and every one of their students, providing the student with a level of knowledge and expertise that is just not available anywhere else.
